Precision Stone are the Premier Stone Fabricators for Kitchens and Vanities in the South Island. With the knowledge and experience in the industry our service and quality is second to none.

Brief History of Precision Stone
Waterjet Purchase
We invested in a state-of-the-art waterjet cutting machine to further cement Precision Stone’s position as the premier porcelain benchtop fabricator delivering unmatched accuracy, detail, and finish.
Xtone
With our major supply partner Stone & Tile Wholesale we added Xtone Porcelain slabs from the world leader in Porcelain Xtone, from the Porcelanosa Group
New Line Polisher Purchased
With a new CNC and Bridge Saw, we needed a new edge profiler to keep up with demand
New Automatic CNC Bridge Saw Purchased
To aid with speedy production, we purchase a fully automatic CNC saw with siginificant speed upgrades from our previous saw.
New CNC Bridge Saw Purchased
With an aging bridge saw it was time to upgrade our saw to the latest technology
New CNC router Purchased
After ten years of use it was clear that our old CNC machine just couldn’t keep up with the increased demand. So its out with the old and in with the new.
Water recycling
To help reduce our environmental impact, we invest in water reticulation and reduce our water consumption by over 50%
New purpose build factory
After loosing our factory from earthquake damage, we moved into our current purpose build factory and showroom.

Downsizing ``kind of``
After the damage caused to our factory, we move our office into a cosy little portacom. Our Stone Gallary has a temporary move to the new Nextdore showroom
Canterbury Earthquakes hit
With the devastation of the September 2010 and February 2011 earthquake, our factory buildings sustained extensive damage. With the support of our staff and clients, we continued to service the South Island market with a small reduction in output.
S&T Quartz introduced
As an affordable option to the market, Precision Stone team up with Stone & Tile Wholesale to launch S&T Quartz to the New Zealand market.
Factory Expansion
With rapid growth in residential and commercial fabrication, the Precision Stone factory is extended to increase hand fabrication and finishing.
First Edge Profiler Purchased
Hot on the heals of our first CNC machine, we quickly realised that we needed to speed up production with the increase in work created. Our first edge profiler polisher allowed us to create a superior finish in a much quicker time.
First Granite Container Purchased
After sourcing locally out of Auckland, we purchase our first container of granite to complement our rnage of engineered stone.
First CNC Purchased
Early on, Precision Stone realised that the future of stone processing is automated technology. With that we purchased our first CNC machine from Italy.
Caesarstone Approval
Precision Stone become approved Caesarstone fabricators.
First Bridge Saw Purchased
After starting with a home-build bridge saw, we visited Marmomacc in Verona Italy and purchased our first numeric controlled bridge saw
Moved to a bigger Factory
From humble beginnings in a shared warehouse space in Woolston, Precision Stone move to Sydenham
First Container of Engineered Stone
Seeing the benefits that Engineered Stone brings to kitchen and bathroom design, Precision Stone landed our first container from Italian Supplier Quarella.
Precision Stone Created
Starting as a collaboration between a tile store and a stone fabricator. Precision Stone was created to introduce Engineered Stone to the New Zealand market.
